Ide-Mobler
(ID Design) was established in 1969 by a group of independent
furniture dealers, who had the foresight that their furniture
retailing would depend on the ability to offer home furnishing
with a broad appeal and at competitive prices.
By joining forces in Ide-Mobler they achieved the
advantages of mass marketing with a uniform market profile and
volume purchasing power.
This
retail chain today operates more than 60 furniture outlets of
various sizes and is Denmark’s biggest home furnishing
company. Aiming to market the retail concept internationally,
Ide-Mobler has now entered a new marketing phase with the
establishment of ID Design franchise stores outside Denmark.
